Many Glacier Region.
The photos were taken by Joseph Sprince, American West Travelogue editor.
Four adjacent 4 x 6 photo prints were painstakingly built into this seamless
composite image.

SECOND PLACE - [Photo # 1]
Our best photo from the spectacular 2001 desert wildflower season in southern
Arizona. This hillside in Cave Creek Canyon north of Phoenix is carpeted in
Mexican Gold Poppies with stately saguaros in the background. Check out our

A laser of sunlight in Antelope Canyon,
a spectacular slot canyon in northern Arizona near Lake Powell.
At mid-day, sunbeams work their way into this narrow crack creating
amazing visual effects as seen here.
